Summer horse riding camp at Foxwood Farm in Bradford, ON gives children and adults the opportunity to enjoy summer riding and in a safe and fun environment.
Our friendly and knowledgeable camp staff are all current or past Foxwood students and are all certified in First Aid and CPR.
For 2019, we are offering 1 week of full day camp as part of Ontario Equestrian's Learn to Ride program. Riders aged 8 to adult will have the opportunity to improve their riding skills on the flat and over fences (if applicable to their rider level), in addition to learning valuable horsemanship skills. Full day camp runs from 9 am - 3:30 pm each day. The first 4 days of camp, will be spent riding and learning the necessary materials in preparation for the evaluation day at the end of the week by a certified evaluator from OE (Ontario Equestrian). This camp encourages riders to set clearly defined goals for reaching the next level in their riding and horsemanship skills.
Our second week of full day camp is our Foxwood Farm theme week riding camp for campers aged 6 to 13. Five fun theme days of riding, hacking, guest visitors, games, horsey crafts and more!
